The intent of an ASWDS is to stop flow of clean StormWater from flowing to a
place other than intended
This could include:
Sanitary Sewer Systems
Water Processing Facilities
Any other Place that may flood or Retain Undesired Water
- A Typical Automatic StormWater Diversion System Includes 3 Main
Components
- STORMSwitch - To detect an event (rain Gauge, Flow or Level Switch)
- STORMController - The heart of the system to respond to the event
- STORMDiverter - To control or divert flow (Valves, Pumps or both)
